Scheidt & Bachmann: Rodange's Park+Rail - Pioneering The Future Of Commuter Parking In Luxembourg

With more than 1,500 parking spaces, the Park+Rail parking garage in Rodange, Luxembourg, is one of the largest parking garages in Luxembourg. In addition to its modern facilities, it is particularly attractive for commuters, as bus stops and a train station meet here. Switching to free public transport is easy and convenient - parking becomes part of the multimodal mobility chain.

In close coordination, CFL - Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois, Devoteam and Scheidt & Bachmann Parking Solutions have placed particular emphasis on a safe and stress-free parking experience for users in this project: Parking is free for the first 24 hours in each case, on condition that the onward journey is arranged by bus, train or active mobility. If a parking fee is incurred, this can be paid in cash or cashless at pay stations or using the "CFL P+R'' app developed by Devoteam. This app integrates seamlessly into the Scheidt & Bachmann's entervo system. Registered users of the CFL P+R app enter the parking garage using their license plate or a QR code and can pay the parking fee, if one is payable, directly in the app. To keep parking search traffic as short as possible, the free parking spaces are displayed globally per level.

The more cars are parked in the Park+Ride parking lots, the fewer cars drive into the city centers. With an attractive parking experience, we are making our contribution to a better quality of life in city centers!
