Monitoring of stationary traffic via iPhone and GeBE-FLASH for iOS
The signs of a modern information based society also affect the work place for instance when it comes to monitoring stationary traffic. The times of hand written parking tickets clamped under the windshield wiper are finally over. Also, the old heavy and cumbersome mobile ticket printers can now be replaced with the mobile belt printer GeBE-FLASH for iOS and an iPhone.

Cell phone, data input device and a camera are combined in the smart phone collected data is printed quickly via the GeBE-FLASH for iOS printer utilizing Bluetooth technology and compact 58 mm printer paper. Software for the App and data processing e.g. come from the Schelhorn OWiG Software GmbH in Rottweil, Germany.
Operation of printer and iPhone happens intuitively. License plate, color as well as the make and model of the wrongfully parked vehicle are captured via touch-screen. Therefore misdemeanor processing is sped up. For the user that means less equipment baggage, less expense and higher income for cities.
For example: 4 old type data input portables used to cost over € 10.000. Now all there is to pay is a monthly flat fee to use the iPhone and the price for the cost-effective GeBE-FLASH for iOS printer.
In Summary: The low weight of smart phone and printer improve operator efficiency while a more cost effective package reduces capital spending for the municipality.
