Green Center: When a Parking System Vibes with the Surroundings

At the beginning, there were many questions and requirements that needed to be met and a fear that the parking system will be too much of an intervention with the local architecture. At the end, there is a perfect symbiosis at one of Green Center’s latest parking system installations– Malta Office Park in Poznań, Poland. 

In Malta Office Park, Green Center’s subsidiary in Poland, Green Center Polska, had a big task of combining all ofthe client’s needs into one functioning parking management system. 

The client desired a solution that would help them organize the movement of vehicles inside the parking area – the main problem was an insufficient number of parking spaces for all client groups (office tenants, patients of two medical clinics, guests, etc.). This meant a necessity of replacing the old and worn-out barriers with a new parking system. The client and the investor both wanted a modern solution and were looking for the latest technology. They expected a solution which would enable the quickest and most comfortable clearance of the parked vehicles. 

Through Green Center’s RestAPI, we have enabled the integration of the client’s preferred application for tenant management–Chainels. Thanks to this solution, office tenants can send meeting invitations which include a QR code, identifying the guests at entry and exit terminals. On the other hand, patients of medical facilities enter the car park by collecting a ticket at the entrance. Medical facilities made sure that their clients could validate their parking tickets in 5 different places inside the clinics. As the license plate is also linked to this validated ticket, the only thing that the patients need to do is drive closer to one of the exit terminals, where their license plate is read, and leave the parking area –no need to scan a ticket. Users who are not clients of medical facilities can pay their parking fees by credit card in the parking terminals at the exit. 

In the end, Green Center managed to deliver a parking system which allows an easy registration of multiple user groups, while also matching the surrounding architecture.
