2Park's Autopay Is Growing in Berlin

Autopay is proud to be chosen for the Tegel Quartier parking garage located close to the new modern pedestrian zone Gorkistraße in the Tegel Quartier of Berlin.

By 2021, the new pedestrian zone Gorkistraße will be built in Berlin-Tegel. The modern pedestrian zone comprises approximately 100 shops on approximately 36,000 sqm retail space, approximately 28,000 sqm office space as well as approximately 320 car and 200 bicycle parking spaces. The traditional market hall Tegel, which looks back on 100 years of history, will be reintegrated into the pedestrian zone.

"We are fascinated by the idea of completely redefining Gorkistraße as an urban shopping street and revitalizing the aging location. Our aim is to create Berlin's most beautiful pedestrian zone that can hold its own against any established shopping center," said Harald Gerome Huth, owner and managing director of HGHI Holding GmbH.

The project is one of the first central refurbishments of a complete shopping street in Germany. The future-oriented project development of HGHI contributes to the significant increase in attractiveness of the entire north of Berlin. The entire Tegel retail location will benefit from the opening.
