Senior Electronic Development Engineer (Angers, FR)

Survision

As an Electronic Development Engineer at Survision, you will design and develop digital and analog electronic products, from drafting specifications to creating prototypes and analyzing results. You will be responsible for creating and executing detailed test plans, including functional, stress, performance and safety tests. You will qualify our products according to industry standards and our internal criteria, verifying that they meet all necessary specifications.

You will work closely with low-level software development, industrialization and electronic development engineers in a dynamic team.

Main activities:

  • Drafting of functional specifications
  • Carrying out a preliminary study to assess the feasibility of the project based on the specifications
  • Design of the hardware and functional architecture of a digital or analog electronic device
  • Sizing and determining the value and performance of electronic components
  • Modeling and entering electronic diagrams using CAD
  • Prototype production and verification of its compliance with expected characteristics
  • Analysis of results, drafting of test reports and the product or process to be carried out
  • Determination of improvements to be made to the product or process and establishment of new versions based on the increase in power of certain components or feedback
  • Development and implementation of validation tests
  • Collaboration with production teams to ensure the transition of the product from development to production
  • Management of the product's technical documentation
  • Drafting and monitoring of approval and certification files
  • Participation in the management of production cycles life of existing equipment (reliability, obsolescence, etc.)
  • Technology monitoring
  • Execution of validation scripts in a Linux environment
  • Use of C and Linux skills for product validation and optimization
  • Integration and validation of embedded systems under Linux

  • Experience in embedded programming (C/C++)
  • Low-level software development skills and Linux
  • Experience in the field of testing, qualification and verification
