We are looking for an enthusiastic Backend Developer to strengthen our R&D team. As a developer you have at least 3 years of experience and a passion for building user-friendly and fast web applications within the Cloud. You are proactive, eager to learn, find AI developments interesting and have a healthy dose of independence.

What do we do at SpecifAi Parking?

We are a company that has developed a SaaS solution in the field of Parking Intelligence. We are active in a very specific sector; the parking sector . Think of municipalities, parking managers, parking operators (for example Q-Park), but also real estate owners. In this sector, an enormous amount of data is generated, but people are barely able to break through the resulting 'data silos'. That is exactly what we do!

We collect all data from different sources, process it into 1 data lake and then visualize it into valuable insights and action points. We do not limit ourselves to just “yesterday’s newspaper” but are able to predict trends and results. We enable our customers to make data-driven decisions at a much higher level than they were able to do so far.

SpecifAi Parking is a joint venture of 2 companies, where we have combined expertise in the field of data processing and enrichment with a large network within and an in-depth knowledge of the parking world. Together we have developed our powerful platform with which we offer customers a great strategic advantage. We are currently growing strongly in the Netherlands, Australia and the US. In addition, we will also enter the Belgian, German, Austrian and Swiss markets in the future.

What will you do as a Developer at SpecifAi Parking?

• You develop and maintain our Parking Applications within the Cloud (AWS-Serverless-Lambda-Javascript).
• Ensures that external data sources are connected using a variety of different methods (REST, API, database connections, etc.).
• Help build our next AI innovations.
• You work closely with other developers, project managers and designers.
• You are responsible for the quality of your code and you test your code thoroughly.
• You are proactive in detecting and solving bugs.
• You contribute to optimizing the codebase.
• You keep your knowledge up to date by attending training courses and workshops.

What type of person do we think would best fit this role?

• You are proficient in Dutch and English.
• You have HBO working and thinking level.
• You have experience as a Developer in a dynamic environment (for example a start-up/scale-up with a SaaS solution).
• You have experience with Javascript, nodejs and GIT.
• You have experience working in a Scrum environment.
• You have the communication skills to translate wishes from stakeholders into the functionality to be built together with the Project Manager.
• You like to share knowledge with the team.

• Salary scale: €3,500 - €5,000.
