YOUR TASKS

  • First point of contact : You are the first point of contact for our customers in the event of a claim.
  • Claims settlement : You negotiate, investigate and settle claims independently within the specified payment limit.
  • Direct reporting line : You report directly to the Claims Management Team Leader.
  • Claims management : You carry out claims assessment and file processing according to our internal guidelines.
  • Check insurance coverage : You check the existing insurance coverage of our fleet in the event of damage.
  • Settlement of claims : You handle both personal injuries and property damage, check liability and the amount of damage and initiate recourse measures if necessary.
  • Customer support : You actively support our claimants and customers by email, post or telephone, especially in the area of claims management.
  • Negotiation Expert : You negotiate with regulators, lawyers, workshops and other relevant experts.
  • Interface to partners : You are the central contact point for our Free2move locations, external experts, workshops, law firms and insurance companies – by telephone, in person or in writing.
  • Europe-wide correspondence : You communicate with workshops and suppliers throughout Europe.
  • Research : You conduct necessary research and prepare accident compensation reports.
  • Additional tasks : Other relevant tasks such as investigating complaints will also be part of your responsibilities.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Education/experience : Completed commercial or technical training (ideally in the insurance, service or automotive industry) or comparable professional experience. Alternatively, completed studies in law or economics.
  • Language skills : Excellent German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
  • First professional experience : Ideally, you have already gained experience in a similar position.
  • Technical understanding : You are familiar with typical claims processes, compensation payments and the relevant legal system as well as the basics of vehicle damage.
