Introduction

Asura Technologies Ltd., based in Budapest and founded in 2017, is seeking a Sales Engineer / Bid Manager to join their team. Our company designs, develops, and installs AI-based parking, traffic monitoring, and security systems worldwide, incorporating our proprietary video analytics and license plate recognition software.

Asura operates globally, with a significant market presence in the United States and numerous projects in Europe and Asia through our strategic partners. In short, working with us means setting trends abroad while contributing to the growth of cutting-edge technology at home. Over the past 7 years, our core team has grown to 100+, and we have a US site with 50 employees.

Tasks

  • Support sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base
  • Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles
  • Model the financial business case associated with each sales opportunity
  • Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions
  • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
  • Manage all aspects of RFP / RFI responses
  • Coordinating with various teams, including sales, technical, legal and finance to ensure all aspects of a bid are addressed
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate bid documentation, including bid files, records of communication and pricing information.
  • Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements
  • Collect and document competitive intelligence

Requirements

  • Proven work 3+ years experience in similar role
  • Proven track record selling complex SaaS solutions
  • Understanding pricing strategies and financial analysis in bid development.
  • Ability to create visually appealing and engaging bid presentations.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess bid opportunities and develop winning strategies
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
