HR Manager (Vejle/Taastrup, DK)

So pull the handbrake and read about this option. At APCOA Denmark, we are currently looking for someone who wants to develop the newly created position as HR Manager with us. If you are motivated as much by devising the best strategies for e.g. retention, which you are driven by throwing yourself into less practical tasks, then we will be happy to hear from you.

We have defined the tasks - you define the role

As HR Manager with us, you will be the leader of a team of 3 skilled employees. 2 full-time employees and 1 part-time employee, who respectively sit in our office in Vejle and in Taastrup. Our 2 office locations work closely together and support the entire organization. Therefore, you should expect to visit our department in Taastrup 1-2 times a week. As the role is new, we look forward to seeing how you shape it.

To kick-start the role, we need your skills in employee retention and development. But we are also looking for you who can support the team in connection with e.g. salary and collective bargaining.

More specifically, your tasks will include:

• Optimizing on-boarding and retention in collaboration with our operations managers
• Ongoing optimization of recruitment processes for new employees
• Setting up employee training and talent development programs (primarily office staff)
• Develop Employer Branding strategies and carry out APV and employee satisfaction surveys

Of more administrative tasks, you will:

• Prepare the payroll budget and participate in payroll runs in collaboration with our payroll accountant
• Handle collective bargaining as well as meetings with the union (primarily parking service employees)
• Follow up on sick leave for both parking service employees and office staff

You can expect the tasks related to retention and well-being to take up 75 percent of your time, but it is important that you also prioritize and use your experience in payroll management, as you will be the go-to person when your colleagues have questions.

As we may have hinted, you get plenty of opportunity to shape the role and put your own stamp on it. However, you will quickly find that we at APCOA are a team where we help each other. Our finance manager has previously handled some of the tasks you will be responsible for, and she is therefore perfectly suited for you to spar with.

However, we expect you to have several years of management experience and to have worked both strategically and operationally with several of the tasks above. We especially hope to hear from you who have achieved good results in retention work and who at some point in your career have worked for a salary.
