Position

As an ANPR Engineer you will work outdoors at client sites to provide exceptional service in the installation of ANPR and CCTV cameras.

You will be accountable for ANPR and CCTV installations within your region. You will be ensuring the delivery of cameras (ANPR/CCTV), the installation of cameras, pay and display machines and the installation of company signage. This is a manual, physical job which will require digging holes, caballing and erecting poles. Working at height and being outdoors is an every day occurrence in this role!

We will provide you with the van and equipment to do your job effectively.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • To be accountable for the installation of a new ANPR Site which will consist of the install for ANPR and CCTV camera, Pay and Display machines, tablets, signage and any other requests as part of the site installation
  • To confirm installation requirements prior to site install
  • To carry out appropriate signage installations if requested
  • To resolve issues with cameras at sites as requested
  • To ensure our clients always receive a personable and quality service
  • To ensure all work carried out is of high quality standard
  • To follow safe working procedures and operating procedures
  • To follow all compliance procedures
  • To enter correct and detailed reports on our scheduling system

Requirements

Who you are

  • Have electrical site experience installing ANPR and Paid Parking machine installations
  • Have ANPR install experience and CCTV camera set-up
  • Able to work as a lone worker and follow survey installation documents
  • Have customer service and client facing skills to communicate to our stakeholders
  • Ability to cope well under pressure, can multitask and can adapt to changing circumstances
  • Have a full UK driving licence

You must be happy working outdoors in all weathers, digging holes and climbing poles! A company van and tools will be provided.

Other information

Salary: £32,500 per annum plus regular overtime opportunities and quarterly team bonus (OTE £35k+)

Location: Based in a London area with easy access to road networks - this is a field based role.

Job type: permanent, fulltime, remote working in the field

Hours: 40 per week, times vary depending on working location but first site visit at 8am.
