Parking meter violators in Columbia, South Carolina will have the option of paying their tickets online or from smartphones by next summer with the implementation of T2’s enforcement and eBusiness solutions.
Currently, the parking meters in Columbia do not offer an online or pay-by-phone payment option. Starting next summer, Citizens will have a lot more choice to pay for parking tickets as well as parking services. Enforcement officers in Columbia will also work with new hand-held units which will send parking tickets to a cloud server, instead of having to wait all day before tickets can manually be uploaded to a local server.
Implementing T2's enforcement and eBusiness solutions will save time and will add convenience to the city's parking program.
