Dover, England's major ferry point, has announced that it will update their parking system this month. Paying for parking will become a bit easier as the town of Dover chose to add a mobile paying option to the possibilities.
Smartphone users can download the Woosh! app, as other mobile users can surf to m.whoostore.com. To pay for parking, the app has the possibility to choose their parking area, space number and amount of time, linked to the vehicle.
When the parking session is about to expire, the option to remind the parker via text message or the app prevents the user to get fined so the chances of receiving a ticket are almost ruled out.
Woosh! is Parkeon's own mobile parking payment service for on-street parking spaces. The app simplifies the parking experience for the end-user but also generates financial and management data that can be integrated with all other parking payment channels.
