Ford’s latest brainwave GoDrive is conducting an experiment in the streets of London. The first 2,000 members to sign up for the car-share service won’t pay a penny for registration.
GoDrive from Ford Smart Mobility is a car-sharing application offering 50 cars in 20 locations across London. It’s USP is one-way trips with guaranteed parking. Yes, guaranteed parking in London. OMG. Not only that, it’s pay-per-minute pricing, and it’s all sorted with a few taps on the old smartphone.
And another thing: GoDrive continually evaluates feedback. The automobile giant is looking to take its technology and innovation to the next level by engaging with Londoners to better understand their mobility requirements as well as travel and parking patterns.
