The City of Dover uses Parkeon’s parking meters and back end system to manage parking revenues and understand downtown occupancy.
The City’s revenue from parking increased more than 10 percent in the last year (ending June 30) to almost $639,000. The city collected $578,107 in parking revenues for the year ending June 30 2014.
The data from the electronic parking kiosks show more transactions, which means that there were more visitors and that people were spending more time downtown.
