At Chadstone, the largest shopping mall in Australia, over AU$1,000 in counterfeit bills were used for a string of purchases. Mall security used recorded CCTV footage to track the suspects to their vehicle, which the M3 System identified by its license plate. With the plate number in hand police were able to locate and apprehend the suspects.
The parking facility at Liberty Place in Philadelphia, USA saw a short string of robberies within the garage. The security staff was able to identify the getaway vehicle's plate number, and the Monitoring Module was employed to automatically identify the suspects when they brazenly returned to park again.

How it works
The M3 System uses three different integrated systems. It uses a range of hardware, which generally consists of camera units, signage and installation equipment. Next to that, it uses computer vision algorithms to process the image that is captured by the CCTV cameras. When the data is processed, it's shown on the parking management platform. Here parking operators can find all the usable information. The parking management platform can be integrated with traditional revenue control systems and smartphones and can be used to create additional revenue opportunities and improved customer engagement.
