If you visited Intertraffic Amsterdam 2014 three weeks ago, you must have noticed the Parking Network TV Crew running around, visiting booth after booth interviewing CEO’s and Managers from the world’s leading companies in the parking industry.
Armed with a microphone and HD camera set they captured footage of companies like Scheidt & Bachmann, FEIG Electronic, Skyline Parking, Magnetic Autocontrol, Smart Parking and many more!
Below you can see an interview with Mr Stefan Forster, Managing Director of the company Hectronic GbmH. Hectronic specializes in on-street parking solutions; on one hand pay-and-display machines, and backoffice solutions on the other.
One thing really stood out at their booth: A bright, colourful, graffiti-painted parking machine with a big “50” on the front. “Hectronic will celebrate 50 years of its existence this year,” says Mr Forster, “and that is why our graffiti designer has put the 50 on the parking machine.”
At Intertraffic Amsterdam 2014, Hectronic exhibited their new Citea pay-and-display machine with touchscreen. Unique about this, is that it’s solar-powered. You can offer all the functionalities of a touchscreen without additional power supply.
