Our Parking Network members are not only making valuable contributions to our industry, they’re also raising contributions for one of the biggest chairities in the UK, Comic Relief.
In support of this biennial event, people across the UK don a red clown nose with an aim to: "bring about positive and lasting change in the lives of poor and disadvantaged people...".
The APOCA team at Kettering General Hospital in Northamptonshire showed the colourful side of parking management at the hospital campus, after several APCOA staff adorned the red noses for Comic Relief 2015. APCOA staff also managed to raise £100.00 for the charity appeal so far, which helped to break all national fundraising records of previous years.
A spokesperson for APCOA PARKING at Kettering General Hospital said: “We started wearing our red noses on Wednesday [11 March 2015] to help raise awareness, and to add a splash of colour around the hospital campus.
“From the reactions and feedback that we received, it was evident that consumers welcomed our warm-hearted, but jocular approach to customer service and parking management. It showed that we are generally on-site to assist the public.”
