Parking garage operators make a significant contribution to improving the mobility of tomorrow: With events, specialist information and networking among each other, the Bundesverband Parken supports its members in an environment that is developing dynamically and innovatively with many new players, concepts and products.

Movement is mobility. And what is parking? Anything but standstill. Because stationary traffic is an essential part of individual mobility. Parking can control traffic and deliver solutions to better shape growing mobility needs - more sustainable, environmentally friendly, more transparent and fairer.

For more than 50 years, stationary traffic has been our topic: Founded in 1968 under the name "Association of Parking and Garages", the Federal Association of Parking eV is today the most important institution in the industry. Our approximately 200 full members manage more than 1.2 million parking spaces in around 4,000 properties: from a small parking lot with 30 units in a pedestrian zone to huge parking garage systems with several tens of thousands of units at a large airport, they represent the complete diversity of the world of parking. Public sector and private companies are represented in roughly equal proportions.
