T2 Systems Announces Partnership with Genetec
T2 Systems is pleased to announce a new strategic partnership with Genetec.
Recognizing Genetecs position as a leader in IP security and license plate recognition (LPR) solutions, T2 is excited about this new alliance and the joint solution that will benefit both Genetecs and T2s customers and the parking industry in general.
T2 is continually looking for ways to help customers bring together all aspects of their parking operation, and thats why the T2 Flex unified parking management system was designed in a way that allows efficient integration with other systems and solutions. The partnership with Genetec has allowed for integration between T2s enforcement solutions and Genetecs AutoVu license plate recognition (LPR) solution.
This integration enables officers to issue citations from the same computer that runs the AutoVu Patroller software using T2 eTicketBook software, with data seamlessly flowing between the two systems. The AutoVu solution will automatically collect license plate information, compare it against parking enforcement databases and then alert operators of vehicles in violation. Upon an alert, the operator only needs to press the Enforced button to pre-populate the citation entry in T2 eTicketBook and quickly issue the citation. The citation is then transferred into T2 Flex for further processing.
This partnership is the result of both companies listening to their customers and delivering the solution customers want. We are quite excited about the integration of LPR technology into the T2 Flex family, said David Hill, Chief Operating Officer of the Winnipeg Parking Authority. As a current AutoVu user, it will certainly make our permit programs easier to enforce, and our timed parking zones more accessible.
We are very excited about our partnership and new working relationship with Genetec, said Irena Goloschokin, Executive VP of Strategy and Products for T2. They are a leader in LPR technology and our partnership will give new options to those in the industry searching for efficient enforcement solutions. We look forward to what this relationship will bring to both municipalities and universities.
We are pleased about our new partnership with T2 Systems, as we are able to work with a very reputable company to deliver even more innovative solutions to our customers, said Larry Legere, AutoVu Sales ManagerNorth America at Genetec. The integration between AutoVu and T2 eTicketBook ultimately offers our customers an innovative and highly-efficient parking management and ticketing system.
