Tri State Electric, DGM Systems and Amano McGann Awarded Boise Airport PARCS Project

The City of Boise has contracted Tri State Electric, in collaboration with DGM Systems and Amano McGann, to continue their long-standing support of the parking operations at the Boise Airport by upgrading their existing Parking Access and Revenue Control System (PARCS) equipment to OPUSeries®. Installation is anticipated to begin in October, 2017.

When considering submitted proposals, the City of Boise was specifically looking for a scalable PARCS solution that can grow with the Boise Airport. “OPUSeries has been installed in airports of all sizes throughout North America,” said Amano McGann Western Region Vice President Wade Bettisworth, “OPUS is a proven solution that delivers flexible payment solutions for increased revenue and throughput.” The scope of upgrade includes replacing all parking entry terminals, exit terminals, pay-on-foot stations and point-of-sale fee computers with Amano McGann’s versatile OPUSeries hardware.

Boise Airport is already using Amano McGann’s parking management software, iParcProfessional®. The project will include upgrading the software to the most recent version. “iParcProfessional has an intuitive, Windows-based interface that is familiar to the Airport’s existing staff which will allow for a quick start-up following implementation,” said Tri State Electric Project Manager Phil Bassick. iParcProfessional also offers a built-in help guide for quick troubleshooting and multi-level access controls for added security.
